General

The Xeno Twinfire Beam is an advanced variant of the Twinfire Beam developed as part of the A.X.I.S. project, which deals increased DPS as well as alien damage at the cost of increased mass.

Strategy and Setup

Advantages:

The Strongest Variant of the Twinfire Beam, the Xeno Twinfire Beam is able to dish out crippling DPS towards enemy ships, taking them out really quickly.

Since it deals Alien DPS, Marauder Hulls are susceptible to the full extent of its power, and thus players using Marauder Hulls must be extremely wary of this weapon or they will find their fleet wiped out really quickly.

It also possesses the same strengths of the Twinfire as well, being a beam weapon, it is 100% accurate and will never miss its target. In addition, when paired with Xeno Beam Capacitor, it can take out squadrons faster, and deal massively more Damage in a shorter period of time.

Disadvantages:

The Xeno Twinfire Beam's Alien DPS also makes it very ineffective against Xeno Division and A.X.I.S. Hulls, since they have inherent resistance to Alien Weapons and, when augmented with EXAL/ENAL/PRAL Armors, can shrug off the Twinfire Beam's DPS.

The Xeno Twinfire Beam also has a long build time of 1 day+, meaning, if players want to use this weapon, they will have to wait for a potentially long time for the refit or build to finish. This is also further supplemented by the fact it is really heavy, weighing 3,000+ tons. Combined with the weapon being A.X.I.S Hulls only, this further limits the options offered by the weapon in battle.

Also, the Xeno Rupture Beam deals much more damage for less mass, and is a much better option.

Trivia

  • The Xeno Twinfire Beam is the second Alien beam Weapon, the first being the Xeno Rupture Beam.
  • The Xeno Twinfire Beam got a buff when it was discovered there was a bug in its design.
