General
The Xeno Seeker Missile is an advanced variant of the explosive weapon designed by the Xeno Division, boasting increased DPS and alien damage instead over its normal counterpart. It was first made available in Alien Decimation.
Like the other 2 versions, it fires green missiles extremely quickly, comparable to the Gatling Ray in speed. It is made to defeat high level swarms due to the firing speed and AoE of this weapon.
Strategy and Setup
Advantages:
Adding on to the advantages from the other 2 variants, the Xeno Seeker Missile boasts a massive increase in DPS. This allows it to be a reliable hard counter to the high level NPC Alien Swarms, and Gladiator Swarms.
When equipped on a Mk V Suppressor it will almost complete negate squadron damage as long as it is in range of the swarms. Thus, making it the best choice against newer Alien Fleets.
Since it has almost 300 DPS along with the ability to rapid fire it is also usable in PvP on Destroyers or Battleships as an anti squadron defence, and an extra source of close ranged damage.
Disadvantages:
Though, since it does Alien damage and most enemies are Xeno Division Hulls they don't do well against them. Along with its low range it will be kited extremely easily making its purpose almost only for swarms.
Its also rather heavy and hard to obtain as players have to defeat extremely high level Alien targets to gain the level II version, the best one. Due to this, usually only high level players can obtain it.
It is also Xeno Division Hulls only severely restricting the use of this weapon.
Setup:
A marked up Suppressor is usually needed due to its weight but try to put on as many Xeno Seeker Missile II and I's as you can while still having Xeno Armored Thrusters III and EXAL Heavy Talonite Armor II.
Try to put 1 of these Suppressors into a fleet and never fully engage with it. Instead, try to put it behind your fleet to destroy swarms and only attack while the other hulls tank.
