The voyager corvette, being one of the first ships you can build, is very weak. Having only 110 mass, it is unable to support anything short of low-level builds.
The voyager can become fairly useful around the lower levels once you research certain technology.
== The Disruption Voyager ==
Strengths:Good firepower & health for the tier
Weaknesses:Short range & easily overwhelmed by stronger hulls
The disruption voyager is generally the best build for this hull. The rays doubled up provide the same firepower as a single Pulse Ray V, but with greater speed and much lighter mass allowing room for Tritanium I, which grants this voyager some great durability for it's tier.
== The Scatter Voyager ==
The Scatter Voyager
Strengths:Superior range & projectile speed allows kiting of other voyagers or pathfinders
Weaknesses:Extremely fragile, useless against anything other than a voyager or pathfinder
The scatter voyager is designed purely to kite opposing voyager corvettes or pathfinder corvettes. The scatter missile completely takes up the ships mass but allows it to out-range just about any voyager corvette. The lack of armor makes the voyager a literal bubble that will pop if you touch it.
== The Rail Voyager ==
The Rail Voyager
Strengths:Longer range then the scatter missiles, with a decent damage output for the tier
Weaknesses: Very fragile and easily overwhelmed by just about anything else.
The rail voyager is an unorthodox build that is not seen very often but does pop up among new players here and there. The build has higher range then the scatter voyagers, allowing it to kite other voyagers, but given the slow speed of it's projectiles most pursuing voyagers will easily evade them and take no damage.
The build is generally ineffective and therefore is not really worth using.
