Former VSec officer Larus has acquired information suggesting Geir's dismissal was borne of unauthorized experiments and his obssession with Alien technology.

Outraged, General Geir has sworn vengeance against those who opposed and betrayed him...

“	The VEGA Federation has released a Decree of Lost Allegiance. For the crimes of conspiracy to commit treason and the performing of unauthorized experiments, General Geir has been formally dismissed as head of the Demon Corps. Geir, however, is one step ahead. The intel he’s uncovered has allowed him to complete his secret work, and he commands his remaining loyal soldiers to betray VEGA once more. His message is simple: “Commence Order XD-01”. Larus obtains blueprints from this secret operation and issues a word of caution. The emergence of this tech has awoken new aggression in the enemies that linger in the darkest depths of the Void.	”
