Strategy and Setup
With its high inherent DPS, the Twinfire Beam is able to outperform the Rupture Beam in terms of DPS, and quickly decimate ships that enter its range.
When equipped together with the Beam Capacitor or Harmonic Beam Capacitor, it can massacre targets from a longer distance, and with a faster charge time, dish out a higher amount of damage in a shorter period of time.
Being a Beam Weapon, it has 100% accuracy, and will never miss its target.
Sadly, its DPS is surpassed by the Heavy Rupture Beam, as well as its Xeno variant. Its mass is also higher than the regular Rupture Beam, which limits the number that can be equipped on a ship unless its marked up.
This is also further supplemented by the fact it can only be equipped on A.X.I.S. Hulls, which further limits its capabilities in battle.
Without any Range specials such as Focused Optics or Beam Capacitor, its range is also extremely short, meaning ships with this weapon can be kited very easily as well.
