The Talonite Armor is a powerful armor that has been Designed by the Xeno Division. It was Available in Vengeance, while the Heavy Talonite Armor was made available in Alien Mobilization. It also returned as a prize in the Resurrection event.
Strategy and Setup Edit
The Talonite Armor provides the most armor of any other Armor piece to that, outclassing both Zynthium and Skirmish Armor in terms of raw hit points. This Means that any ship equipped with this armor is able to withstand much more damage than usual, drastically increasing the survivability in battle.
The Talonite armor is also restricted to Xeno Division Hulls, further limiting its uses in battle.
The Talonite armor still has a rather high repair time, which means Ships equipped with this can take a maximum of 3 to 4 hours to repair, not including base repair time.
They also take up a decent amount of ship mass on the Punisher Cruiser (due to its high mass), and thus mass that could be used for armor and weapons are sacrificed in favor of equipping this resistor. Which the Punisher has a hard time doing with all its added weight of new tech.
