The Stasis Field is used by carriers or Alien flagships. All enemy ships (except carriers) within its area of effect will have their forward, strafe and rear speeds slowed by 30%.
The only non-Alien ship with a Stasis Field is the Valkyrie Carrier found in VSec Supply Run crafting fleets. The Valkyrie Carrier available to players instead has the Phase Shifter field. The only Alien ships that have the stasis field are Barrage Hives and Barrage Harvesters.
