The Shatter Driver Turret is the base counterpart of the Shatter Driver.
It fires a slow-moving projectile that splits into a fan of secondary projectiles on impact or when it reaches projectile range, similar to the ship version.
Strategy and Setup
Shatter Driver Turrets have very high range and can protect a large area against sniper attacks. Their shatter effect allows them to hit anti-squadron ships that may be sitting beyond their maximum range.
At higher levels, the weapon's innate shield bypass greatly increases the direct armor damage dealt through the shields, which is very useful considering that most sniper decoys use regenerating shields.
Shatter Driver Turrets have even less firepower than Gemini Driver Turrets due to the fact that the primary shot only deals a portion of the listed DPS. They are also much easier to dodge, having a slower projectile speed.
Shatter Driver Turrets are highly vulnerable to blitz attacks due to their low damage and large minimum range.

- The Shatter Driver Turret's primary projectile does 2/3rds of the base DPS, while each secondary projectile does 10%.
- The Shatter Driver Turret fails to hit targets at the very edge of maximum range with its primary shot, effectively only doing 50% DPS instead of 66.7%.
- This is considered to be one of the worst turrets in the game.
