The Pierian Fuel drastically increases the range of Missiles and Torpedoes, with a slight boost to projectile speed. It can only be used on the Pegasus.
Strategy and Setup[]
Advantages[]
Pierian Fuel enables your Pegasi to approach the range of destroyers, being able to kite even battleships. The speed buff makes your weapons slightly more difficult to dodge as well, further improving their effectiveness.
It works on all Missiles and Torpedoes regardless of damage type, meaning that you can mix regular, Heavy and Xeno versions of the same weapon and have them all benefit from a single special, freeing up slots for other purposes.
Disadvantages[]
Unfortunately, Pierian Fuel also increases the minimum range of your weapons, making them much easier to exploit by fast cutters.
This special carries a massive amount of XP, barring a full fleet of Pierian Pegasi to no less than level 68.
Trivia[]
- Pierian Fuel is the first ship weapon special released that is restricted to certain weapon types.
