Description
The PRAL Heavy Talonite Armor is an advanced variant of the Talonite Armor developed by the Xeno Division, designed to effectively absorb alien and Projectile damage.
Strategy and Setup
Advantages:
With Inherent resistances to Projectile and Alien Damage, in addition to high amounts of armor, the PRAL heavy Talonite Armor allows the ship equipped with it to effectively shrug off shots that would destroy most vessels, especially those from the Xeno Disintegrator Cannon or any other alien type weapon.
As the Punisher Cruiser has reductions to armor mass, it is a perfect pairing for the PRAL, and the Alien Resistance can reach a maximum of 70%, which, combined with the Punisher's ability to tank, greatly nullifies the high damage output of the Xeno Disintegrator Cannon or any Alien weapon. The Projectile Resistance also helps to reduce the damage taken in PvP, especially from weapons like the Shatter Driver, Infernal Wave Driver, Alien Outpost PR Weapons, or even the Ranger Swarm Squadron.
It is also a blueprint which means you can infinitely equip them to a hull without running out, unlike the PR Heavy Talonite Armor.
Disadvantages:
The PRAL, is for Xeno Division Hulls only and is incredibly hard to get as a mid-high level player as the Alien Fleets are very hard on higher levels and still do massive damage on lower level fleets with the wrong setup or strategy.
It is also very heavy which makes a Mk I Xeno Division Hull have a hard time equipping it. Usually players who would like to max out on the armor will usually sacrifice important weapon or shield stats which could be better in some cases.
