The Ravager Cutter is a Vindicator Cutter designed for PvP combat, sporting Void resistance and the ability to equip powerful Marauder Technologies. However, it is blocked from using those of other sources.

As a cutter, this ship has fair durability and superior forward speed, suitable for rushing into enemy formations.

Strategy and Setup

Advantages

The Ravager Cutter is an incredibly deadly ship at close range, having a maximum of 6 weapon slots all equipped with high-damage Marauder Ship Weapons. Void Bombardment Torpedoes provide some degree of protection against squadrons, while Void Twinfire Beams offer the best damage-efficient option.

Marauder Hulls including this ship have a decreased repair time, enabling you to fight other players multiple times a day even if you get defeated and lose your whole fleet.

Disadvantages

The Ravager Cutter has great difficulty catching up to Guardian Cruisers, Enforcer Battleships and Vindicator Cutters due to the lack of Harmonic Agility. To make things worse, Vindicator Cutters can easily make up for the damage shortfall via Harmonic Warfare equipment such as the Harmonic Beam Capacitor, which the Ravager Cutter cannot equip.

Similar to other Marauder Hulls, this ship lacks Alien and Plasma resistance. It is also unable to equip any resistors and therefore relatively fragile against non-Marauder weapons. Liberator Destroyers may be able to severely damage a fleet of Ravager Cutters before they get in range to open fire.
