The Paladin Carrier is the first T6.5 hull in the game. It is a extremely powerful build that is made to decimate hulls with drones or swarms at extremely long distances along with the ability to change support fields. It can deal more damage than a fully equipped Xeno Rupture BeamAnnihilator Battleship can making it incredibly deadly.
FvF/E Builds[]
==[> The MK VI Drone Paladin <]==
Quality
Strengths:Immense firepower and incredibly hard to take down, can also act as a drone shield for your other hulls.
Weaknesses:Suppressors decimate this strategy, still weak by itself.
The Yellowjacket Drone Paladin Carrier is by far the most powerful carrier fitting currently in VEGA Conflict as it can deal more damage than a fully equipped Xeno Rupture Beam II, Mk VI Annihilator Battleship can, all while having an immense range.
Due to the Yellowjacket's high health and damage they can act as a shield to tank firepower from the enemy while your ships rush them, the enemy will have to choose which to target and will usually pick the drones making it an excellent support.
It also has the Agility Field Generator a must have for carriers. Though, if your opponent has a massive anti-squadron defence most drones won't get through, in that case try to let your ships tank as the drones rip apart the enemy.
Strengths:High firepower, long range, Agility Support.
Weaknesses:Cannot outperform most other Paladin Carrier builds and is not very strong
The Hunter Swarm Paladin Carrier is used if you do not have any Yellowjacket Drones but have the Hunter Swarm III, this built is incredibly light so even Mk I can equip this with one thousand mass left over.
The high range of the Hunter Swarm should be used to the fullest, and thus the carrier should always stay at its maximum range. This can eventually let the Paladin deal as much damage before it is easily decimated by the enemy.
It also has the Agility Field Generator a must have for carriers. Though, if your opponent has a massive anti-squadron defence most swarms won't get through, in that case little hope is there as the Hunter is incredibly fragile.
== The Mk I-IV Drone Paladin ==
Second-Hand
Strengths:High firepower, long range, Agility Support, hard to deal with.
Weaknesses:Incredibly crunched on weight, incredibly weak.
The lighter Yellowjacket Drone Paladin Carrier is by far the most used carrier fitting currently in VEGA Conflict as not many players can fully equip to a Mk VI Paladin and usually have a Mk I-V Paladin at their disposal. This still can deal tons of damage.
The same rules apply with this build just like the main build. The images shown are for a Mk I Paladin. AT higher marks try to get a Metaphase Shield III equipped before adding higher level drones, that way it doesn't die as fast.
Once at Mk V, it will follow the same build concept as the Mk VI as they share the same stats, mostly. If you want a Metaphase Shield III try to lower a few more drones to level 1, that way you can equip it but will have less DPS.
