General[]
The Exodus Cruiser is a Tier 2 hull with standard Miner Rebellion technology.
As a cruiser, this ship has great defensive capability and is designed to soak up damage.
Strategy and Setup[]
Advantages[]
Exodus Cruisers have a good balance between health and firepower. With triple armor and weapons as well as a decent amount of mass, they are capable brawlers in Tier 2 combat.
Essentially, they are used in situations where Genesis Cruisers would against Tier 1 targets: usually blitz ships and armor tanks.
Disadvantages[]
Exodus Cruisers, in general, are not oriented for long-range combat. Ships that are faster with more range can attack them outside of their weapon range and continue to maneuver outside their range. This includes certain Talon Frigate builds as well as most Venom Battleships.
Upgraded destroyers gain a massive damage boost against cruisers, wiping out any advantage the Exodus Cruiser would have in terms of durability and causing a ton of repair time.
As a ship that has over 5 minutes of repair time but low range, it is seldom used once the player unlocks the Revelation Cruiser, which is far stronger than the Exodus Cruiser.
