The Cluster Missile is a powerful Explosive weapon that is particularly effective against armor. It can be only used on Xeno Division Hulls and A.X.I.S. Hulls.

It fires a cluster of 4 missiles that travel at moderate speed with some spread.

Strategy and Setup


Cluster Missiles have high damage output that exceeds that of the Disintegrator Cannon against ships that have no shielding, as well as armor-heavy modules.

Their minimum range is so small that it is negligible and functions well in point-blank combat.

Cluster Missiles have a high fire rate and are hence effective against enemy squadrons.


Cluster Missiles have a very short range that cannot be enhanced, making them particularly vulnerable to battleships that can easily outrange and kite them.

Cluster Missiles are slow and have limited spread, causing them to often miss fast-moving targets such as frigates and Alien Reapers.

The missiles explode with a very small AoE, making it almost impossible to hit multiple targets without the use of specials such as AM Warheads and Overcharged Warheads.


  • The Cluster Missile originally fired like the Hydra Missile, albeit with a quicker firing rate; it now fires a flurry of missiles since the April 2017 update. Its spread was also halved to the present value due to its inaccuracy.
