Boosted Gladius Driver I, II, and III, Respectively. It looks identical to the Gladius Driver

The Boosted Gladius driver is a ship projectile weapon. It is exactly similar to the standard Gladius driver with the same mass and firepower, projectile speed and such except it has an innate +25% shield bypass, where a portion of the damage dealt to its target is applied directly to the armor, ignoring shields partially.

They were first available in Alien Mobilization series of events. No blueprints of them can be obtained, equip-able variants of it can be obtained, they are limited in number.

Strategy and Setup

Boosted Gladius drivers are a combination of Wave driver and the standard Gladius driver, possessing shield bypass attributes as well as higher projectile speed and proximity detonation. This makes it a overall upgrade to the Gladius driver.

They are limited in number. Unlike blueprints, players cannot equip them limitless on their ships, the number they can equip depends on the amount of Boosted Gladius driver items they have. They are also incredibly hard to get as the unknown signal fleets are extremely hard and most of the time the strongbox will award a unwanted level or weapon. Unlike credits, they can be re-used but require a refit time.

Just like the Gladius driver the Boosted Gladius driver also has a very low DPS and a horrible weight to damage ratio making it very weak against today's armored hulls. They are easily replaced by other weapons such as the Vector torpedo which is better overall in every way possible.
