The Boosted AP Driver Turret is a modified AP Driver Turret with extra damage.
Strategy and Setup:
Boosted AP Driver Turrets deal increased damage compared to the regular version, enabling them to destroy snipers much sooner. They are also more mass-efficient, so you can fit additional armor and shields on your Combat Modules.
Boosted AP Driver Turrets are just as inaccurate as the regular version due to their lack of proximity detonation.
Boosted AP Driver Turrets are also worth a lot more XP, enabling higher-level fleets to attack your base.
