The Berserker Cruiser is a Guardian Cruiser designed for PvP combat, sporting Void resistance and the ability to equip powerful Marauder Technologies. However, it is blocked from using those of other sources.
Strategy and Setup
The Berserker Cruiser has innate Void resistance as well as a massive number of armor slots, making this ship the ideal tank against other Marauder Hulls. It also enjoys a repair discount much like the rest of the Marauder Hulls, allowing it to return to battle sooner after being destroyed.
The ideal build employs Void Pulse Cannons which have one of the best damage to mass ratios of all Marauder Ship Weapons, Void Ionization to increase maximum range, Voltaic Thrusters to become more agile, and Fused Armor depending on the intended targets and remaining space. Circuit Shields are not recommended if you intend to maximize your repair efficiency.
Compared to the Guardian Cruiser, the Berserker Cruiser does not have innate Harmonic Agility, making it even less desirable to equip shields due to their long repair time.
This ship can reach incredible amounts of health when fully equipped with VO Fused Armor IV. However, this in turn greatly increases the overall repair time of your fleet. It is important to balance combat effectiveness against repair time if you wish to use your fleets often.
