General[]

The Antimatter Scoop is a special type of armor that increases the amount of Antimatter obtained from a battle (not cargo collection). This amount stacks additively, meaning that 6 ships with Antimatter Scoop III will result in 60% extra Antimatter.

Note that each ship can only equip one Antimatter Scoop regardless of its level.

Strategy and Setup[]

Advantages[]

Antimatter Scoop enables you to improve the ratio of Antimatter collected through farming NPC Targets: the amount of Helium-3 and Mineral Ore dropped remains the same, while the amount of Antimatter increases.

In addition to its special ability, Antimatter Scoop is actually more mass- and XP-efficient than Zynthium. Thus, they should be equipped on each of your ships regardless of whether you actually need extra Antimatter.

Disadvantages[]

If you only want other types of resources, refrain from using Antimatter Scoop as the resource ratio will be heavily skewed towards Antimatter, preventing you from obtaining the desired resources.

Trivia[]

  • This was released prior to a major base update, during a time when Antimatter was abundant and ubiquitous. After the update, resources became a valuable asset, increasing the value of the Antimatter Scoop.
